This is for all the business owners. Anyone who is thinking about starting a business. Anybody who has been around the block like me. This is for you! Why is this a big deal? Here’s the thing, those of you who started a business have done something that the average population doesn’t have the courage to do. You’ve either looked at the world and said I can make people’s lives better and you have accepted the challenge or you’ve looked at your own life and said I only get one life to live. I want it to be absolutely legendary. I want to make a lot of money. I want to be fulfilled. I want to help a lot of people. And so you started your own business. Whatever the reason, you became an entrepreneur, I celebrate you. I just wanted to take a minute to say it is an honor to be an entrepreneur with you. It is an honor to do life and work with you. You see in order to live this life, you’ve got to be braver than your neighbor who is playing it safe. In order to live this life you’ve got to have the tenacity like no one else. You’ve got to get knocked down over again and then get back up. You’ve learned to look at a bank account that is getting close to zero and figure out how to move to the next step. You’ve got something in your heart and soul that is different. You know that the work you do matters. When the whole world has turned their back and said “go get a day job, you’re crazy for starting your own business. Have you lost your mind!!!!” You have the vision to see what is possible. Today I celebrate you and I thank you. I thank all those that have come before me, who paved the way, who showed me that a girl from Vancouver, WA. can make her dreams come true, can start a movement that changes people’s lives. I thank those who will go beyond me. Who carved this path of entrepreneurship. I thank those who are here now, Because whether I know you or not, I believe in your ability to create a business from nothing that makes more money than you could’ve possibly dreamed. I believe in your ability to help people all over the globe and when you put your head on your pillow at night, you know that you made a difference. You’ve made a positive impact. I believe in you as much as I believe in myself. Which is pretty radical by the way. That’s what successful entrepreneurs have in common. People want to know the secret all the time and yes there are some things you have to know like how to market, sell and have a product that people love. But the thing that surprasses all of that is you have to have tenacity. You have to get back up when you get knocked down. You have to say I am moving forward or I am learning. Every opportunity where something doesn’t go right, it is an opportunity for us to say “okay let’s look at this differently.” If you do what your business needs you will find a way to thrive. You will help the people that you were meant to help. You will make money! You are not alone~ We are in this together. I believe in you. I believe in your business. Go out there and change the world.
