Go For No The book that changed Ray Higdon's Career

Ray Higdon credits the book "GO FOR NO" as the most influential training that turned his network marketing career around.  I've just finished listening to the book on audible and would like to share some things I learned to hopefully help you in your network marketing journey.

This book showed me how Yes and No are just opposite sides of the same coin and need to work together to achieve success.

“The best way to increase your success is to increase your failure.”

I love their example of mining for GOLD! If you are looking for the gold, you will go crazy.  A good miner will tell you that your job is to remove all the dirt around that isn’t gold. Now your choice is how fast you want to remove the dirt! 

“Opportunity does not knock. You Knock. Opportunity Answerers.” 

We need to be detached from the outcome.

I love Ray’s example in the book of the restaurant server.

They offer you desert or the special for the day, and you graciously decline. 

Do you think the server ran to the back and quit because of the rejection, not likely? 

We should have the same mental attitude and toughness when talking to people.

I could go on and on about how great this book is, but my recommendation to you is just listen to it on audible. You will not regret it and I promise it will change your business if you read it and take action.  It does take a little time to adapt to NO but it's changed my business.

Start by setting your NO Goals and go from there.
