Maxincome101- Start Where You Are, Use What You Have, Do What You Can

The name of my website contains the purpose and reason for my business. The long version of my site would be called "How to Maximize Your Income Beginning With Lesson 101". The purpose of my website is to learn how to build and attain the maximum potential that the content of my site can produce. This is done by realistically starting from point 101 and moving towards never ending growth. There is a saying by the great tennis player Arthur Ashe, which I have used to push myself over the past 30 or so years. Mr. Ashe said, "Start where you are. Use what you have. And do what you can”. Mr. Ashe's words of wisdom simplified my goals and direction because the saying did not define any aspect of my life or mindset. The saying did not require me to have already achieved some state of positive knowledge, some state of focus, or some state of definition by the world or I around me. And the saying solidified and stabilized my spiritual walk which was happening at the same time. I personally do not believe this was something that just happened to occur at the same time. I believe there was a powerful spiritual force directing my every step that I needed to get to a point of teachability.

I had lived up to this point a really good life. Not rich and not poor. My Mom and Dad were both educators. My sister was a world traveler through her educational exploits. My older brothers were outstanding athletes, and here I stood not really knowing where I fit in. As a young child I had always used my hands to make and create many of the things I wanted. I made my own action figures, I could take old shoes, and tare them apart and make something new. I seemingly always worked all my life. 1st job was helping the lady who owned of community store just 3 minutes away from our house. That buck twenty-five was awesome 3 hours an evening on Friday and Saturday. I pumped gas, did minimal cleaning, helped old ladies carry their packages to their cars, and learned serving people with a smile. I also worked on a tobacco farm which held some of my fondest memories about making money. Your own money. How to purposely prepare the land months before the harvest and how to prepare for problems that always happened. These were my financial life experiences until I reached college. I never realized all the things I had learned until I did my own thing and ended up facing 40 years in the pen. But that is another story. But back in 1983 I had to make a decision that would ultimately put me on the right path.

Because of the years of myself destructive ways I was at a crossroads. Either continue on the downward path I was so good at, or step into a new reality I knew nothing about. And Mr. Ashe's saying grabbed me and gave me a solid starting point. At the very same time I was getting back into church, but I was so different from all the people who attended. The preacher was telling me I was a new creature through Christ, but I had trouble with that because I did not understand how this Good Christ could or would love someone like me. Then I heard Mr. Ash say do not worry about what you use to do or use to be. Start where you are. It did not matter what I knew or did not know. It did not matter whether I had money or not. Or whether I would be a good member or not. Just start where you are!!!! And I did. Then the bible told me the story of Christ's sacrifice for my sins which was difficult for me to grasp. Why would He do such a thing as bad as I was, Why? Then Mr. Ash said use "use what you have". Not what you think you should have, not worrying about all the things you lost. But simply, "use what you have". And since this Christ asked only that I believe in Him, this is what I had so I listened. and because I was never a lazy person, and had done so many different types of jobs, I could always find work and I used what I had. And lastly, I followed the final part of Mr. Ashe's saying. I did what I could. Not what someone else could do but what I could do. I showed up for work every day on time, I worked as hard as I could. and my bosses appreciated me and some even said they wished they had more workers like me.

Ain't that a hoot. Spiritually I did the same thing. It took people years to believe that I was really sincere and then after my calling into the ministry every step I took was under the microscope. I did what I could in the same stomping grounds that I raised hell in. It took years but finally people began to believe in me, not because of what I said but because of the life I was living. I was doing what I could. I said all that because I wanted to make a point that hurts many people who are trying to start a home business or start a business. Too often the person believes they know nothing, not enough, and then do not want to try to understand more. But all they have to do is do what I did. I started where I was. I used what I had. And I did what I could. These 3 simple lines have brought me through a successful rental business, a successful income tax business, and now a successful online home business. And they can do the same for you. I started my online business because I was getting older and had no retirement plan due to companies closing and selling out. I was having physical disabilities and a few health issues. But I still worked as hard as I could. Then one day a friend stopped by to share a business he had started. He amazed me because I had never, ever, seen him this excited about anything. As he was explaining the business to me, I was already signing up, because if this business had him this excited, I had to be a part of it. And quickly I realized through my early failures, that this online business stuff is a horse of a different color. Yes, I was successful in running all my brick-and-mortar businesses, but this online stuff stopped me dead in my tracks after I lost my first thousand in a matter of weeks. This caused the brakes to immediately go on. I had to admit that I knew nothing about online businesses. So, I did what I had always done over the years. I started where I was. Ignorance is not a bad thing unless you stay ignorant. I knew I needed training about online business. That was my starting point. I used what I had. I knew I did not have all the tools and savvy other online business owners had. But what I did have was the knowledge of the baseline that all businesses must have and follow to be successful. I knew about long suffering, long hours, material cost, bad investments, etc. I used this knowledge because it was what I had, and it began to work. And then I did what all online business owners must do. I started advertising everywhere and in multiple ways. Was mine as good as theirs, no? But I eventually started gaining success because I simply did what I could. and I watched other successful people online and I started doing what they did in my own way. Doing what I could.

And you can also do the exact same thing. Just keep it simple and steady. Maximize my income. Getting the most out of anything I do is my goal and the goal for my site. Now the word income to you is probably a bit different for me. To me income is an action word that has greater meanings than just one financial meaning. To me income is a deion of anything that I allow to come back to me. Look at the word. "In" "Come". It is coming into me or coming back to me. So, to maximize everything that comes into me, I had to re-evaluate everything. I have always known that my business income had to be about more than just money. All my other businesses had. When money got slow, my businesses continued because the money that came in was only a tool to help run the business, not the reason I started the business. 3 I earnestly had to like what I was doing, I had to know that what I was doing was helping people, and I had to know that if someone spent money with me, it helped make them a better person. So, my income involved money, health, happiness, joy, peace, helping others, and bettering myself, to name a few things. And to maximize my in-come, I learned everything I could about what my business was and the content of my business. And since I started where I was, this was the start, 101 in my online education. Bringing us to maxincome101.

My goal is to maximize any and everything that comes into my business life, and it all starts at level 101. Everything has a beginning, and the end weighs largely on the beginning. In just a few days 2020 will be gone forever. 2020 was a tough year for us all. But with 2021 just days ahead, start making plans now how to strengthen your business, take time to really look and see the weak aspects of your business, and then take immediate action to fix as many of the weak spots as you can. But whatever you do, I want you to remember these 3 lines.

Start where you are. Use what you have. And do what you can.

You have every right to be a success. You have worked just as hard or harder than others who are successful. Believe in Yourself. Believe in Your Product Believe in God's Plan for Your Life

Success Is YOURS
