What is attraction marketing?

GOOD VALUES are the MOST important thing any of us can ever have.

It is essentially about providing value to people, helping them solve their problems and becoming the hunted rather than the “hunter”.

With attraction marketing, instead of disturbing your audience when they are doing something else, the focus is on causing them to want to look at your "stuff", to seek it out and explore the information you have on offer.

If somebody is taking a look at what you have to offer in their own time, if they are free to explore and try things out without pressure, then it makes sense that that person is likely to be more open to the information, products, and services. Especially (with online marketing) if they have initiated the search with keywords you are using.

How do you attract the right people?  

Everyone communicates, few connect. 

Attracting people who are already interested in what you have to offer is a process and a skill. It is something that requires a bit of work because, at the core, it is about giving before receiving.

It is about offering some value before making a sale and knowing that an awful lot of people are going to take that value and not buy from you. Many, many more people will just take the value and disappear, as will actually buy but it is the quality prospects and customers who do develop after some time spent doing things well, who reward your efforts.

Attraction marketing involves some or all of these things:

• Giving value before asking for an order

• Taking time to build a relationship

• Taking time to find a highly targeted audience

• Finding out what people want before telling them what you have

• Gaining permission from the audience to market AND give value to them

The permission is very important. With it, you now have an audience that expects you to provide them with some valuable information and also from time to time, to make offers to them that require them to pay if they are interested.

As for those who don't give permission-well, the best bit about sticking to this form of marketing is that you don't know who has visited and not given permission for you to contact them! So you don't chase them. Less heartache all round!
