Think like the rich
Hello fellow MLM gateway members,
A bit of context first, my grandparents where not property owners. They left school at 15 years of age and worked jobs all their life's. The retired at the retirement age of 65 (it's now closer to 70) on a fixed pension. They lived in a small flat in the north of England and did not own a car. They died 5 years after retirement, both where heavy smokers.
Fast forward to me. I own several properties my child is in private school I drive a BMW and my wife also has a car and we holiday abroad most years. We are also saving for our retirement.
Clearly there has been a massive shift in lifestyle from what my grandparents had to what I enjoy today. That shift started with my parents who wanted more from life. Now they did not have a great start as outlined above (they could not learn from their parents my grandparents) but at the time they new the first key was property ownership.
The second key was that my Dad new he had to have his own business. At the time he was working as a butcher in a supermarket. So they took a second mortgage on their house and bought their own butchers shop in the local village. Three years later we went on our first overseas holiday and my Dad bought his first BMW car. My parents are now retired themselves and travel all over the World. But they still worked until they where 65..
In most cases this getting rich business does not happen by chance. It not only takes hard work but you have to understand money and how it works. Money makes money if you have it leveraged and you pay yourself first. This is why I am in this business, leverage from other peoples efforts and then re invest the profits back into the business to help it grow (marketing) property and my retirement fund.
Don't be like my grandparents in this day and age and unfortunately many still have that mindset. I call it the poor mindset!
