Network Marketers, Tired Of Chasing Prospects With No Response? Try This

At some point in your business, you have been ignored, blocked or rejected by so-called friends, family and people you barely know, because they just do not respond to your pitch.

I know, I know. You write out the best pitch about your business, hoping to get great feedback. But instead all you hear is crickets.

I know the feeling all too well.

After some time, it breaks your motivation and you decide that network marketing is just not for you. But the reality is, it is a great business model but you are probably going about it the wrong way.

Don't Chase The Prospect

In fact, not probably. I know you are going about it the wrong way because I once used these tactics in my business and it is exactly the strategies that the so-called leaders tell you to follow to get results in your business.

When you are messaging prospects and they do not respond, it’s only because you appear to be chasing them.

One thing you must remember is that the prospect is never in control. When you allow them to be in control, then they know how to manipulate you simply by reading your message and not responding.

We have all faced this. But there is one key way in which you can take back control and every time I have used this way, it works like a charm.

Take Back Control

The reason why it works is that it puts you in the position of power and influence. It almost always forces the prospect to respond to your message and gets you back in control which is where you want to be.

The thing is, people dislike being chased. When messaging your prospects, you never want to appear desperate or needy. Do not ever convey the message that your business depends on their actions because they will hold you at ransom.

The Script

What you do want to try however is this one simple that will show that you mean business and if they are not on board then they are no longer a priority.

It goes something like this:

Hey Jan (whatever their name may be), I noticed that you still have not gotten back to me about the opportunity/product even though you said you would. That’s ok, no problem at all. Hear what. I have a handful of people who have joined with me and many others who want more information from me. I really want to give those people my attention so I’m going to assume that this is not the right fit for you. I won’t contact you about this again. I wish you the best.

In this message, you are letting the prospect know in a professional way that your business does not depend on them. It takes away the power from them and puts it back in your hands.

Messages like this always gets a response because of the psychological effect it has on the reader to prompt them to respond either with an apology or a time when they might be ready. It gets them back on board.
