Affiliate Marketing Mind

My name is Jaque van der Merwe and I am the creator and owner of "Affiliate Marketing Mind".

I live in South Africa and decided to create "Affiliate Marketing Mind" to try and make it easier for others who would like to start out with affiliate marketing but do not know where to start because I know just how confusing it can be, the many pitfalls there are and the many so-called "gurus" that are out there selling their "secrets", that’s really information that is out there and available for free, instead of delivering value.

I am 57 years old and have always been in business, in fact, I have never worked for an employer. I started my first business at the age of 17 and have been self-employed for the last 40 years and I’ve been quite successful over the years, even listing one of my companies on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

By the time I was 50, I decided to semi-retire and do farming (I grew up on a farm and it was always my dream to go back). So I bought a farm and started as a weekend farmer and gradually grew from there. I established a Game Lodge and I was breeding with cattle and sheep, and it was going very well.

Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse, after we went through several farm attacks, suffered stock thefts and poaching and it became too dangerous to have guests staying at the Lodge. I knew it was too dangerous, even for us, to remain on the farm and I tried to sell the farm, but with the history of what happened there, it was impossible to get buyers.

We had to move back to town, where I managed to rent a much smaller property that at least still felt like a farm, but with the theft I suffered, combined with the loss of value of the farm (which has now been vandalized, all the buildings demolished), I had to find alternative income and find it quickly. And at the age of 55, I knew I would not easily find employment and did not have the money to start a new "traditional" type of business.

That is when my online journey started. I investigated several options and decided on affiliate marketing, because I did not need to have a product of my own, retail outlet, extra staff, did not have to deal with shipping, supply chains, collecting money from debtors, none of the issues normally related to normal business.

The road was very bumpy, full of potholes, and with opportunity seekers around every corner. But somehow I made my way through it, even though it meant paying my school fees in the process.

I have now reached a point where the road has become much smoother, and that is what made me decide to create "Affiliate Marketing Mind", so that I can hopefully help others on their journey to becoming successful with affiliate marketing and being able to earn passive income, even when you are not actively working on your business.

So what I've created is really a "Business-In-A-Box". How this works is, I create courses, websites, and eBooks and then I give them away for free, I call them my "Golden Nuggets" (Digital Assets) and this is how I attract my ideal customers. People who want to start their own online or affiliate marketing business and that are looking for information and training on how to get started with affiliate marketing.

I go even further... by making my "Golden Nuggets" white-labeled it means that my customers can take those "Golden Nuggets" and brand them as their own and be able to give it away under their own names or brands in order to attract buyers.

So, you may ask, how do I make money if I give everything away for free? And the answer is really simple! 

Well, when people want to get my eBooks, websites, sales funnels, and courses, they need a digital platform to do that and that digital platform is my affiliate product. So when they sign up for the digital platform that I use, I earn a commission from that. And because it requires a monthly subscription, I keep making recurring income, some call it passive income, for as long as they are using the digital platform. 

And it gets even better! Because this platform has a 2-tier affiliate program, not only do I make a commission on my direct sales, but also from the sales of my customers! 

So to me, this is the best possible solution! I give value and training to people that want it and need it and I earn income from it.
