16 MLM Nuggets to Move Your MLM Business Forward
Today, I want to share 16 MLM Nuggets to help you move your MLM Business forward. These lessons come directly from my journal. Enjoy.
# 1 Your job is to teach people to teach people to teach people. This is a TEACHING business. Your job is to teach Mary to teach Joe to teach Tim how to build a business. Once you can do that, you will have more duplication in your business.
# 2 Stay in production mode and never stop. Never ever stop retailing and recruiting. Lead from the front and set the pace for your group. Avoid management mode at all costs.
# 3 Stop comparing yourself to others . If you're going to compare anything, compare who you are with who you are capable of becoming. Realize that when you compare yourself to others you are comparing your weaknesses to someone else's strengths.
# 4 Never let your comfort get in the way. Success always starts outside of our comfort zone. Do the things you fear and the fear will eventually go away.
# 5 Remember what it was like when you first signed up . Never forget where you came from. When you're talking with someone brand new to the business, think of things from their perspective. Stay humble and never let success go to your head.
# 6 Learn from everything. Let every defeat and success be a lesson. Keep an open mind and learn from every experience.
# 7 Set big goals and focus on continuous improvement. I learned these two lessons in Army. Set big goals for yourself and high standards, and then just focus on getting a little bit better every single day.
# 8 You’re looking for people who are like minded. It's not your job to convince anyone. You are looking for people who are open minded and looking. This is no more than 20 percent of the population.
# 9 People build at their own pace. Never, ever pressure people to do more with the business than they want to. Meet people where they are at and work with the willing.
# 10 How we are introduced to something is how we think we must do it. Your prospect thinks they must build the business the same way you do. That's why it is so important to keep things simple and always use third-party tools.
# 11 Admit when you are wrong. We all make mistakes. If you are wrong, admit it, apologize, and move forward.
# 12 Ask for help when you need it . No one can read your mind. If you have a question, ask.
# 13 Recruit at your level and above. Look for people who are successful, entrepreneurial, and have contacts. Avoid people who are down and out. Avoid people with a bad self-image.
# 14 Systems are the solution. All businesses need a system. In network marketing, you need a system to generate leads and a system to train your team.
# 15 It's not what works, it's what duplicates. The key to success in network marketing is duplication. It's about a lot of people doing a little bit. Keep things simple and have a system for your team members to follow.
# 16 Get people a check quickly. Most people will quit after their first month if they have not received a check yet. Help your people get paid. When you enroll someone, help them work with their warm market and get a few distributors and customers signed up quickly.
