10 MLM Success Tips

In today's post, I want to share 10 MLM Success Tips.  They are listed in no particular order.  Enjoy. 

# 1 Find a mentor. Find someone in your company, or in the industry, that you admire, trust and respect and follow their lead. Find someone who is successful and has achieved what you want to achieve, and let them guide you and coach you. Be smart enough to listen and do what what they suggest. Everyone needs a mentor.

# 2 Pick one strategy and focus. So many network marketers try to build their business 10 different ways at once. I think it's much better to pick one business building strategy, work on it daily, master it, and do nothing else until you are successful.

# 3 Spend just as much time and money RETAINING your people as you do looking for new people to recruit. Recruiting will make you money, but retention will make you rich. Even if you can retain an extra 10% of your team each year, it will have a huge impact on your commission check. Do the little things so that your customers and team members know they are appreciated and want to stay.

# 4 Expect NOTHING from everyone you sponsor. Don't get excited about ANYONE who joins your business. Expect that everyone you sponsor will do absolutely NOTHING with the business, and be grateful if they do anything at all. Every time I get excited about a new team member, they let me down. When you don't expect anything, you won't be disappointed if they do nothing and quit. AND you will be pleasantly surprised if they do start building the business.

# 5 Watch people's actions, not their words. Many of your team members will talk a big game, but at the end of the day, actions speak louder than words. Work with people who are actually doing the work, not the ones talking a lot of smack.

# 6 Make a list of your talents and abilities. All of us are different. We all have different strengths, talents and weaknesses. Figure out what you are good at and come up with a business building strategy that leverages those talents, so you can work smart and be productive.

# 7 Work in depth. Spend most of your time at the bottom most point of each leg in your organization with the newest most excited distributor. Light a fire in the basement to get everyone above them excited. The best way to motivate and retain your team is to build depth under them. Working in depth is how you build a big MLM Business. 

# 8 Have Fun. People don't want or need another job or boss. Do what you can to make the business fun. If you aren't having fun you are aren't building your business the right way. Have contests. Recognize your team members whenever possible. Have team events. Build a team culture that people want to be part of, even if they stop doing the business.

# 9 Stop looking at other companies. Don't even consider looking at another company or opportunity for the next five years. The grass is not greener on the other side. The grass is greener where you water it.

# 10 Don't compare yourself to others. When you compare yourself with others you are comparing your weaknesses against someone else's strengths. Besides, you never know what the other successful people have been through to get where they are today. Things are seldom as they seem. If you are going to compare anything, compare what you are doing with what you are capable of doing.
