Ethical Direct Selling Group are running a FREE 5 day course

We have noticed more and more in the industry that reps are trying to convince people to join their teams. Guess what it doesn't actually work and the data proves it. 

I was speaking to someone that was prospecting me and I ask her how many people she is sending this copy/paste message to, she said over 100. I then said to her how many have bought? and how many joined? her numbers were so low and I said you have a very low ROI (return on investment/time).  I don't think she realised and really wasn't ready to change something that she learnt from her upline to do.

Another example was recently when I have had an influx of friends join one company under different leaders. It was interesting to see the approach of these 3 people and how they tried to prospect me, unfortunately again it was the same spiel from all 3 only a few words were changed.

I said to them how is this going for them and one said she got abused, another was so happy it was going well the other didn't have any idea. Having said that I noticed if they had changed a few words instead of the copy/paste (that used to work in the 80's) they may have gotten a better response.

The more years in the industry shows that I can spot a pitch a mile away from MLM. It just shows over the 30 years nothing has really changed except for everything now being online.  With online it means that you have access to more people around the world and this is a good and a bad thing. 

I say that good/bad because it shows more and more that the training given is not keeping up with the technology. What I noticed when putting this course together was: 

1. Asking friends to join without making sure it is something that they want just doesn't work in the long run for you or for them.

3. Not asking enough questions to pique their interest, I find that with the scripted copy/paste this is really a major downfall.
