I’m Michelle. I’m a wife, a Target Mom, an X-ray tech, and a business owner. I have a passion for helping people, an obsession with organizing, and a new appreciation for building our dream life.
I started my business thru a friend of mine. I was 9 months pregnant with our second and was already looking for a side gig I could put my creative energy towards, something of my own I could build and maybe one day be proud of. Something my husband would be proud of. Something that was totally out of my comfort zone, exciting, unfamiliar. I always played by the rules, always played it safe, watched from the sidelines as others started new adventures of their own. And I was content with that. We have a very beautiful life, one I always dreamed of. Still there was always a little voice in my head, one that would ask me if I’d really reached my full potential yet. What if I was actually capable of doing something that felt so far out of my reach? What if I succeeded at it? What if it made my husband excited? What if I changed our lives? I mean...we were happy now, really happy, was it possible to be even happier? What if it was? What if this became so big that I was able to give back to Andrew for giving us so much?
I started this journey September 1 and had a baby September 16. We had just bought our dream home and I was going on maternity leave for 4 months, majority of which would be unpaid. We had a new mortgage, daycare for our first born, I remember thinking to myself if I can just cover Andrew’s new truck payment during those unpaid months, that would be a win in my book. It was a far goal..I had never done this before, I didn’t know what to expect, and his truck payment was $534. In December, maternity leave was coming to an end and I decided to sit down one day and add up each of my paychecks since starting September 1. Once, twice, three times I added them all up. Could this be right? Had I done it? Let me add them up one more time just in case. It was. I paid his truck payment each month, I was able to take the entire 4 month maternity leave, I was home with my babies every single day and building my own business from my phone wherever we were. I set a goal for myself, for us, and I did it.
And now, my goals are bigger
