Tuesday Is Cruise Day!

Yes, that is right! It’s Tuesday again and that means it is Cruise Day at Living Golden Travel! I know a lot of people think that cruises will not ever come back. They will. All the cruise providers have kept in touch with us, and they are just waiting to start sailing again. They have not only followed protocol, they have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of their guests.

Living Golden Travel has two, yes you heard correctly – TWO– cruises debuting today.

The first cruise we’re going to spotlight is the Ultimate Disco Cruise and then there is the Alaskan Summer Cruise.

The Ultimate Disco Cruise is leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and going to Costa Maya, Cozumel, and Belize.

There are a lot of familiar names from the disco era performing on this cruise, beginning with KC & The Sunshine Band, one of THE biggest groups from the disco era. Their sound was unparalleled and is still in rotation today. You will hear “That’s The Way I Like It”, “I Get Lifted”, “Boogie Shoes”, “Do You Wanna Go Party”, “I’m Your Boogie Man” and many more of their timeless classic hits.

Kool & The Gang is also in the lineup. This band has been around since 1969 and has made music for three generations. “Hollywood Swinging”, “Jungle Boogie”, “Celebration”, “Ladies’ Night”, “Joanna” and “Too Hot” is just a sampling of their extensive discography.

The Spinners, Rose Royce, The Ohio Players, Evelyn “Champagne” King, A Taste of Honey and so many more will be taking us back down memory lane on this cruise.

The cruise is sailing from Saturday, February 26  to Thursday, March 3, 2022, aboard the Celebrity Summit.

The Alaskan Summer Cruise (AKA THE 7 NIGHT ALASKA GLACIER CRUISE) is an 8-day, 7-night cruise through 4 different ports of call in Alaska and 1 in British Columbia.

Leaving from Seattle, Washington, this cruise is going to Alaska Inside Passage, Juneau, Skagway, Endicott Arm & Dawes Glacier & Victoria, British Columbia.

There is so much to see and do on this cruise, that there will NEVER be a dull moment.

And the ship? WOW! The Ovation of the Seas is the newest Quantum Class ship in Royal Caribbean’s fleet and if you cruise, you KNOW how Royal Caribbean does it.
