How to be a Better MLM Leader: My Top 7 Tips

Today, I want to share some simple and practical tips about how to be a better MLM leader. None of these things are rocket science, but they can have a big, positive impact in your network marketing business. 

# 1 Give Recognition ALL THE TIME

Recognize your team members whenever possible, even for the smallest of things. People want to feel important and appreciated. Babies cry for it and adults die for it: RECOGNITION. Whenever YOU are recognized for something, be sure to give credit to the people on your team. Utilize praise, awards, certificates, handwritten notes, gifts, contests and anything else you can think of to recognize people. 

# 2 Lead from the Front

Always lead from the front. Do the things you want your team members to do. Become a top recruiter and retailer. Stay consistent and persistent. Be rock solid! Your team is always watching you!

# 3 Be a Servant Leader

Focus on helping others get what they want. Take your eyes off yourself and focus on helping and serving others. The more people you serve, the more money you will make! Realize that your team does not work for you. If anything, you work for them!

# 4 Create Team Spirit

People want to belong to something bigger than themselves. It's basic human nature. Create a strong team culture that encourages people to grow and step out of their comfort zone. Have a team name. Make EVERYONE on your team feel important and special whenever you can! 

# 5 Love People

Never pressure people to do more with the business than they want to. Love on everyone and meet people where they are at AND work with the willing. Do not "push" people out of the business because you pressure them to do things they aren't ready to do yet. Every person on your team has a role. Every person on your team is important. 

# 6 Speak Belief Into Others

You must realize that MOST people have confidence and worthiness issues. As a leader, your job is to speak belief into others. Encourage others. Let them know they are worthy and deserving of success. Give them credit for even the smallest of things. Help others work on their personal development, so they can reach their potential. 

# 7 Take 100% Responsibility

You are your own CEO. Never blame your team for anything. You must accept 100% responsibility for your success, or failure, in the industry. Man up or woman up at all times. Remember, there are no successful victims.
