Escalated Marketing and Consulting Academy, LLC
I started Escalated Marketing and Consulting Academy, LLC ~ EMC.
I assisted people with setting up there Facebook Fan pages, advertising using Tabs within the Fan pages (for those that remember Tabs!), Pay Per Click ~ PPC, writing Ad Copy, etc. for my Clients.
One person wanted me to place an ad for her on a Thursday, I called, but no answer. I called Friday, no answer, so I thought she was just trying to “Reverse Market” me!
Then Ingrid became my Client and eventually my Admin and my “Big Sis!”
Then Mid October, a friend emailed regarding a program, it was good, but the Owner was not trustworthy. We had a Huge Downline and made some Good money! And a few of us realized that program had a good Business model.
On November 16, 2014, “Wow Factor Team Build” was born! It was great and we were helping many people, then we grew to “One Focus” and “Escalated Lifestyle Group.” We were Direct Sales and our Products were eBooks and Consulting Services. I was training Several people to become Marketing Consultants.
On August 2015, Ingrid and her hubby, Claus, drove up from California to visit me for the first time and we had our First Conference Call ever!
And my 11 year old Puppy started the “WOOHOO!”
We had our bad times and we had our Good times!
And we met Awesome People along the way!
On September 2016, we had our 1st Event and we had a Blast! It was Awesome to meeting some of our Amazing Members!
I was 100% Focused and didn’t look at a “program” for 2 1/2 years!
Then a year ago one of our Members joined another Program and pitched to several members and took them along with her.
That is when I started looking at other “Programs” and we joined a few, but all in all, there was really not any program that was “it” and mostly they just wasted our time!
Then October 2017, “Escalated Lifestyle Group” turned into “Postcards to Prosperity” ~ P2P!
And then we joined “Automated Income System” ~ AIS the end of December 2017; however, they were going though many changes and mid March is when they kicked into gear!
April 2018, my almost 14 year old Puppy passed away. May she Rest in Peace.
The end of April 2018, I noticed my MDC Sponsor posting on Facebook and I was glad that I was curious because I asked him what he was up to and he sent me his MyDailyChoice Link.
Thankfully, MDC is keeping me busy!
Going back to before EMC… I was a self-employed Paralegal in Eureka, CA in Humboldt County for Five years and 11 months specializing in Family Law and Estate Planning. I was also a Mediator and a Notary Public. And I dissolved my business on February 2007.
I am not blaming anyone; however, the Franchise that moved in shortly after could afford to spend Thousands daily on Advertising.
The great thing about that was that I was growing my Advertising Skills! I was in the “Yellow Pages,” I did newspaper Advertising briefly, I had my Ads on the Radio, and on the Big Screen when people were waiting to see the Movie they went to the Theater to enjoy! And of course, Business cards.
My youngest wanted to move to Seattle (I didn’t care to drive in big cities), so I told him if Montana didn’t work out, then we will go to Seattle!
So we moved to Montana and then 2008, we lost our home due to all of the Foreclosures that were taking place!
I had Namaste Media, LLC and I even started “Puppy Yums!” I made Dog biscuits made with real Buffalo jerky! Yum!
Life Happens.
November 2018, will be our 10 year Anniversary of being Seattleites!
However, ever since losing our home, life has been different!
Remember the saying, What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger?
It's so true!
After trying to find a Paralegal or Administrative position from Spring of 2008, I finally took a job cleaning houses in September of 2009. I was in Primerica during that time as well.
Two years later, on my way to the bus stop, I fell and broke my wrist.
I was not able to get workman’s comp as I was on my way to work and because I did not have a minor child, I was told that I did not qualify for disability.
That is when I realized that I NEEDED to take Internet Marketing Seriously!
I learned how to be a Team Leader and then took the step up to be the Owner of and Doing Business As… Wow Factor Team Build, One Focus, and Escalated Lifestyle Group… now Postcards to Prosperity.
Then around 2012, I saw this article…
“At this point, more than 10,000 Baby Boomers
are reaching the age of 65 EVERY Single Day,
and this will continue to happen for almost the next 20 years.”

I am not even counting on receiving Social Security when I turn 65…
