Know your business before you start recruiting or selling

So many of you are eager to get started in advancing your business that you miss the most crucial step of owning a business and that is learning and understanding the business you are going to be doing. If you do not take this step you can and more often than not turn away people and some of those people could have been very interested in what you have but your information was wrong.

Until you learn it, print off the important information and keep it in a binder, so you have a reference guide about how to sign up, compensation plan and the products. There is nothing that kills a sale more than giving false information. NEVER be afraid to say you are new and if the person wouldn’t mind a moment to look that up (whatever they had asked), it sounds so much better than just telling them something and then when they go to sign up they find out what you told them isn’t right. It ruins your credibility.

If your enroller didn’t help you with this step, be sure you become the mentor they should have been and do it for all your enrollees. What I like to do for those who enroll for me is do up an info newsletter which includes everything I feel they need to have at their fingertips which includes webinar times, numbers; important videos; my contact info including my zoom with times and other contacts so if I am not available they have someone else to reach out to. I feel this is only being fair to the people who have trusted me to enroll with me.

I want them to be successful and making them figure out how to move their business forward on their own is not showing them how much they mean to me and how much I care about their success.

It can also mean the difference in whether the person stays in the business or not as well.

Learn how to maximize you advertising dollars. There are a lot of free advertising sites if you want to do long distance business say in other countries and there are easy ways if you want to keep it local. This is information that I pass on to my enrollees as well.
