Why I’m Not Chasing Money—and What I’m Building Instead

Most people today are chasing money. They jump from one thing to the next, always looking for the next big promise, the next quick dollar. But not me.

I’m a Christian man. And I’ve made a decision that shapes everything I do—I will not run after money. That’s not my calling.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” That’s not just a verse for Sunday morning. It’s a foundation for life, and for business. Especially in this fast-moving online world.

As an entrepreneur, it’s easy to get swept up in hype. But I’ve learned that when we put God first—not second, not as a side thought, but first—everything else falls into place. He takes care of what we need. But He still expects us to move. To build. To give Him something to work with.

That’s where unity comes in.

I believe with all my heart that God is raising up people who are ready to link arms and build something that lasts—not just for our benefit, but for the Kingdom’s sake. This isn’t about flashy riches. This is about creating a stable place where believers can grow, serve, and be an asset to others.

And yes—finances matter. But money is just a tool. The Bible doesn’t say money is evil. It says the love of money is. When we stop making money the goal and start focusing on people, purpose, and God’s plans, money becomes a servant, not a master.
