Four Mistakes That You Want To Avoid In Your Network Marketing Business

If you are new to network marketing then you want to avoid these 4 mistakes that is costing you money.

Everytime I see these mistakes I cringe because I know if the person is educated they can make their business work so much better. Really that is all there is to it.

If you are more informed, then you can avoid the simple things that is probably crushing your business. If you are guilty then it’s not too late to change the game.

Pitching

Please just stop! Pitching and asking people to buy your product the first time that you meet them is not the right way. After all do they know you? Have you built a relationship with them?

So often I go to forums and I see people talking about how grand their business is and why you should join them. That’s all well and good for informing me about your business but have you taken the time to actually get to know what my problem is?

It is so important that when you meet someone for the first time that you provide value. You can provide value by teaching them what you already know. Do you know how you can solve their problem? Ask questions and find out what their pain points are. Give them some time to get to know you through whatever forum they first met you, then you will be qualified to ask for the sale.

You’re Afraid To Ask For The Sale

Yes it can be awkward when you have to ask someone to buy a product for you but if you have provided as much value to your prospect for free, then there is no harm in asking them to support you by purchasing your product.

People are more willing to spend their cash on you, when they feel like they have received something of value from you. It is like a barter. They know if they invest in you, then you’re more likely to help them solve their problem and that is what you want.

When is the right time to ask for the sale? It is appropriate to do so probably after 3 or 4 times of providing value.

Also do not just ask the prospect to buy from you. It is better if you can figure out a way to provide a bonus or reward to the prospect if they purchase from you or join your team. For example, can you give them free tips and recipes if they were to join your weight loss program? Can you hold them by the hand, offer free coaching or personal contact if they were to join your team?

You want to stand out from the rest and give them a good reason for spending their cash on you.

Improper Targeting

Who is your target market? Do you have a plan to find the people who matter to you the most?

If you are talking to people blindly and not know whether they are really interested in what you have to offer then you are wasting your time.

I would always recommend writing out who your ideal prospect is, then finding a source where your ideal prospect hangs out.

You want to make it easy for you to specifically get in front of those people who are more likely to buy your product.

There are many ways in which you can find your target market. Facebook for example is a powerful tool that gives you many criteria to choose from so that you can laser target your audience.

There are websites who attract a certain niche crowd and you can always approach the owner of the website with a proposal to speak to their audience through website ads or email ads.

Not Using A Proper System

This is the biggest mistake that I see everyday from marketers.

Technology has come a long way and it is time that marketers start using the technology to improve the performance of their business.

If I told you that you could get more signups into your business by using a powerful marketing tool that captures leads on your behalf, follows up with them and converts them into buyers, would you pass me up on my offer or would you dive right in?

Well these systems have been around for a long time but I still see marketers not using them at all.
