succeeding in MLM or working from home

In the last decade Multi level marketing and working from home has grown to very popular. There's pretty much never a time that your scrolling the internet and someone's ad doesn't pop up saying something about their work from home opportunity and the reason why it is the best opportunity for you; but there are many factors that you should consider when it comes to succeeding. 

One factor to consider is What is your why? Do you want to travel the World, help your family retire, be able to give back to your community and those in need. Maybe your motivating factor is that you want to give your family the high quality life and financial security you never had. Maybe your why includes multiple things. Whatever your Why is, It is personal to you and is the driving force of everything you do and the work you put in to your business. If you don't have a strong enough why that makes you excited to get up out of bed every morning and put in the work necessary to reach your goals; then it is time to think beyond yourself and focus on others and how you can give back. This brings me to the next factor to consider. 

What is your vision and the vision of the company. Maybe you have heard the term; where there is no vision the people perish, and it is so true. When you don't have a vision for the future and where your going it can be very hard to know what your aiming for. Its like shooting an arrow at no target; and you will always get what you aim for. Having no vision for the future can leave you scattered, confused, frustrated, angry and indecisive. I know, because I have been there myself. A vision for where you are going will help you know what action steps and goals to have to reach your desired destination. So when considering the company that you want to work with, ask yourself if you can see yourself being a part of the company's mission and goals. If you don't believe in the vision and mission of the company, its going to be very hard to convince others to believe in the company as well. You have to convince yourself before you convince anyone else that the opportunity you are presenting is worth it. The vision and mission of the company will help you determine your own personal vision for your business and execute the action steps you need to take to move forward and continue building a successful business. 

What are your goals? What helps me when making goals and making sure I reach them is to do a 30 day 60 day and 90 day goal period. In fact, this is what most Entrepreneurs will tell you to do when setting goals. Having a vision 5, 10 or even 20 years down the line will help you know what your aiming for. Having a goal period of 30, 60, and 90 days will help you to execute the action you need to take without getting super overwhelmed.Studies show that humans are more likely to accomplish the goals  they write out on paper. Something else you could do when making goals is create a vision board. I find this to be extremely helpful, as humans all tend to learn more visually as well as informatively. At the end of the day, Setting goals will help you be more productive and help you feel more confident and is absolutely necessary when creating a successful business. No one wants to work with someone with no ambition; Maybe its not ambition you lack but you just have a hard time with organizing your goals and commitment. I totally get it, With all their is to do out there it can be hard to stay on track with one thing until you finish it, and its very easy to just jump to something new when you just are not feeling it. If you have a hard time committing to your goals, get an accountability partner that will help keep you on your toes and working towards the end goal.  

Everyone has heard the term; consistency is key. Why do some people fail and some people succeed in business? it's simple. The person who finds success in business is the person who shows up day in and day out and does the work even if they don't see results right away. So many people expect a get rich quick deal and quit when they realize that there's some people that don't want to hear what they have to say. Some may find success quicker then others; but everyone is different. You can't compare what's going on in your business to someone else, and if you are comparing yourself, ask yourself what is making them so successful, what you can do, and how you can put your unique personality, gifts, and talents to work for you. This brings me to my last factor to succeeding in business, which will also be the starting point of everything that is to come after that; and that is branding yourself. 

I use to make the term branding yourself complicated; but branding yourself all comes down to knowing who you are; strengths and weaknesses alike. Think of what you are gifted at and how you can build on those gifts. Think of any talents that you have and how you can use those talents in a creative way to market your product. It can be tough to brand yourself and succeed when everyone is technically doing the same thing. So Put your personality into it! Maybe your good at giving advice to people, or maybe your gifted with technology, or gifted with fixing things and working with your hands. Maybe your passionate about helping people reach their goals and helping people get fit. Maybe you are creative and like writing, photography, dance, or singing. Whatever it is don't hesitate to try different things and see what works for you. As a personal example in my own life, I love writing and am a big health and wellness Guru. I also love encouraging people and helping them discover their true potential and and reach their goals in every area of life.  Hence, why I am writing this article and in the process of creating a blog to promote my services as well as be informative and  helpful to my readers with Living Healthy in Mind, body, soul, and spirit. But that is just my personal example. Don't go another day with trying to copycat someone else's way of doing things. Your brand is not the same. You are an original; and when you get that; that is when you will start standing out from the crowd, succeeding in your business and and attracting the right people to you.
