My Over 50 Weight Loss Journey

My whole life, I’ve had the perennial 20 pounds to take off and I’ve taken it off multiple times. Over the past 35 years I’ve been on every diet imaginable including some very popular programs. About 4 years ago, I started noticing that I was gaining some weight – again. Only now, it was settling in my mid-section like an inner tube. Like many people, I was stressed out. Between a tough economy and a sick elderly parent, things were tough and the weight piled on. Food tends to be a go to when things get difficult. Alcohol can wreck havoc on your body as you get older too. And, I enjoyed a good glass or two of wine a little too often. I wasn’t feeling well. I was tired all the time, irritable and had no energy. I decided I needed to take the weight off again. Well I tried and tried. I went back to the program where I was a lifetime member, several times, and would last a few weeks and take off a few pounds – nothing meaningful. I would get discouraged and quit. It was not as easy as it was when I was younger to take off the weight.

So about a year ago, I joined a gym and started working with a trainer. That’ll do it I thought. Well, if you work out and don’t change your eating habits – newsflash – nothing happens. I would lose a pound or two and then gain it right back. I was getting a bit stronger, but I was frustrated.

Then, about two months ago, a good friend of mine called me and told me that she was doing a 10-day celebrity transformation. It was designed to cleanse your body from all the processed junk that we’re accustomed to eating and drinking. A bonus side effect was that there was also a weight loss for most people – on average anywhere between 5-20 pounds. And, it was only 10 days. You can do it for 10 days I thought. And, if I didn’t like the products, there was a full 60-day money back guarantee. Well, I trust this friend of mine – she’s like the sister I never had so I said ok sign me up. She gave me a $50 gift card to use on my first order and away I went.

These products are Certified Organic, Vegan, Gluten-Free, have no-GMO’s and are Certified Kosher too. I would be eating Nutrient-dense superfoods, slow-burning carbs and highly-digestible protein – all natural. I wouldn’t be eating ANY processed, irradiated, denatured, artificial or genetically-modified ingredients. I took off 3 pounds in the first 5 days and was motivated to continue. Then a funny thing happened on Day 6. I woke up feeling euphoric. I got up early and woke my kids up to go the gym instead of the other way around. My mood started shifting. I was feeling really good. My girls started commenting on my new found energy. By the end of my 10-day transformation I had taken off 8 pounds and 7-1/2″ overall and more importantly, I felt amazing, reinvigorated. By the end of 60 days, I was down 21 pounds.

What I’ve learned is that this is more than a 10-day program. It really is a transformation and lifestyle change. I buy foods differently now, read labels more and shop organic. I am much more interested in the type of foods I feed my family now. I have started helping others transform their lives as well and I’d like to help you. It’s so much fun and so rewarding to be able to share this program and help others. Learn more. SAVE $50. Join Today!!!  Go to and Save $50 by entering the code earnpure.
