We Love Our Heart

Hi my name is Mark Felstead.

8 years ago I thought I was doing everything right for my health.  I was a competitive triathlete , ate what I thought was a good diet, didnt smoke and had less than 10% body fat... That was to all change on a warm summers night in August '18.  I competed in a competition and collapsed 200 yards for the finish ....DEAD...sudden cardiac arrest..

I survived and since then have been trying to answer two questions, WHY and WHY. Why did it happen to me and WHY did I survive as my life could have easily ended there.

A couple of years and many rabbit holes later I realized I was not alone in this and so, with the help of experts, I founded We Love Our Heart to help others learn about the unseen dangers (no symptoms) of heart disease. How to see those ticking time bombs in advance and how to live to reduce the risks of heart attack. 

We Love Our Heart has grown to be a global community with clients in New Zealand, Australia, EU, UK and Ireland and Canada and the USA.  I have personally helped and coached over 100 people through a small group coaching course and we have hosted tow LIVE online events with some of the best authors and cardiologists in their fields speaking and taking part.

The commuity I have ( 4000 people) is a curious and like minded group of people who are all trying to navigate the best path amongst the overwhelming amount of information that is out there.

They have come to me becuse they know their GP or clinician does not hve any real time for them and probably gives them a "one size fits all" solution and the typical cocktail of drugs.

Our aim is to help people try to understand their root cause and underlying problems and to go about fixing that with manageable lifestyle changes and to part of a commuity that understands them and is constantly looking for the latest studies and research to help understand heart health.

 I am looking for people to help me share this knowledge, to help people live healthier and longer, feel less alone, and, above all, so that their loved ones do not have to recieve THAT call from the hospital...
