Hi, I'm Champion and I started with a company called Symmetry in September of 2020.  I never wanted to "do insurance" but I needed to do something different.  You see, I had been sick from a condition called Crohn's for a few years and had been told in the past that I wouldn't be able to work a "regular" job.  Well, I had already come to that conclusion myself as I had been hospitalized so much (and had the surgeries to prove it) in the past 8-10 years.  Before that, I had powered through, suffering as I worked various "normal" jobs--waitressing, telemarketing, and what I was college educated to do--teach.  

Well, I decided after my experiences that I should do something that I had previously run away from--sales.  And why not insurance?  I can help people AND get paid lots of money in an industry that is not going anywhere.  In fact, during these trying times with Covid, people have made more money, not less, in the company than they previously did, while working at home!  

One problem though.  I had never been good in "sales" which is the exact reason I chose to do it.  I determined it was finally time to learn to do what the most affluent people do and what makes the most millionaires (you thought it was real estate, didn't you?).  

So, after determining to work with Symmetry, I first needed to get an insurance license.  Now, this was easier than I had built it up in my mind, because I was shown how and where to go for the mandatory pre-licensing class  that would help me pass the insurance exam the first time I took it, which I did.  (I came in later than everyone else and left earlier than they did, too, and still passed.)

Then, I was blown away!

Not only did the company tell me what I needed to do, they told me HOW I needed to do it.  They offer specialized training and mentorship from people who are actually making more money in a month than I had made in years as a teacher, all while helping people.  How they find the time to help newbies, I don't know, but they do it on an ongoing basis because the culture is focused on helping--helping the agents and agents in training and helping the clients.

So, how has it worked for me?  

At the end of September I got my insurance license.  In October I started out slowly and helped a few families and made over $1200.  This might not seem like much, but it's more than I've ever made in any of my "other" endeavors (and in the fastest time).  In November, I made even more.  And in December, I see myself making a lot more!  (I have started VERY slowly.  My accountability partner started a week or two after me and made at least 5X what I made in my first month in her first 3 weeks!  You decide how fast and deep you go .)

Let's get this straight: the insurance industry has been around since the 17th century and it is here to stay.  Not only that, but it pays lucratively for helping people secure their family's future.  Can you succeed in this business if you don't know anything about insurance? Absolutely!  I didn't know anything.  Is there training provided?  Yes, there is training and you get paid to earn while you learn with this opportunity.

What really has drawn me in to this group is it's culture.  Yes, you can help a lot of people.  Yes, you can make a lot of money.  But more importantly, you become a part of a culture of people committed to doing better and helping others do better.  Aside from helping each other as agents and agents in training, the company prides itself on helping our society.  Case in point: Not two weeks ago, Symmetry hosted a one hour charity event that benefited the Make-A-Wish Foundation (and it has for a few years).  The goal was to raise $60,000.  Actual money raised in ONE HOUR for the Make-A-Wish Foundation: $260,000!  Yes, this is the real deal!

Another part of the culture that I like about this group is that you are encouraged, no expected, to work on being a better you.  In our company meetings, topics include developing a daily reading, exercise, and meditation routine to become a better person, in addition to product knowledge and how to make money in this business using leads.
