MLM – How to best answer the question : What is it that you do for a living? If you ask a doctor what they do for a living, they will tell you that they area a doctor. If you ask an athlete what they do for a living, they will tell you that they are an athlete. Why is it that when people ask network marketers, what they do for a living, it causes distress? Most network marketers dread being asked what they do for a living. Most network marketers will send you a pitch explaining what there company is, what they sell, the comp plan. What is the end goal in telling someone what it is that you do for a living? Of course you want to peak their interest. You want to structure your answer in a benefit driven answer to their question. In other words you want to structure the answer in such a way that the person asking the question gets curios and wants to know more about what it is that you do. If someone asks me what I do for a living? This is how I answer them, Hi, My name is Graham Odenyo, I teach people who are interested in earning a full time or part time income from home using the internet. they might ask you: How do you do that? Let’s be careful how we proceed from here, before you answer this question, this is where you need to get with your upline or a mentor on what the best way to answer this question is. If your upline is not helping you, then you need to find a mentor or join a mastermind group and get the benefit from the collective wisdom of other successful business owners, who have gone through what you are going through, and know exactly what to do.
