Four Steps to Success In Your MLM Company

After spending 17-years in the MLM Industry, I’ve boiled down the success formula to four simple steps. I cannot take 100% credit for creating this success formula. I learned it from several mentors, including Jordan Adler. I hope this helps you as much as it helped me.  

# 1 Find a Few Customers

Your first step is to find a few customers. Contrary to what you think, MLM is not direct sales. Your goal is not to personally service hundreds of customers. For most reps, servicing two to ten personal customers is a great, realistic goal. Remember, network marketing is about a lot of people doing a little bit, not one person doing a lot. Finding customers from your warm market is a great place to start.

# 2 Sponsor a Few Distributors

After you’ve found a few customers, I highly suggest you go out and recruit THREE to FIVE distributors. This seems to be the magic number and is something anyone can do. Try to do this within one month after securing your customers. Keep in mind these are people who are interested in building a business. You’ll probably need to show at least ten to twenty presentations to sponsor three to five distributors.

# 3 Teach, Train and Support Your Team

Your real key to success in network marketing is duplication. It’s a process of getting them in, keeping them in and moving them along. When you enroll someone, put them through your getting started training and teach them the ropes. Help them make their name list, find their customers and sponsor their first distributors. Once you do that, start working with their new people and repeat this process over and over in depth.

# 4 Repeat for Three to Five Years

Your goal is to repeat this process ten to twenty levels deep in each of your three to five legs. By the time you do that, you should have a very secure team. Just keep in mind that the deeper you go, the more stable your team. 

Light a fire in the basement and watch the heat rise. Build your business from the bottom up and always work with the newest, most excited distributor at the deepest level in your team. Repeat this process over and over until your three to five legs are secure. Keep working in depth and never stop.
